During the economic boom of the 1990s, countless construction projects were realised in Ireland and small towns spread into their hinterland. After the 2008 crisis, all construction work stopped overnight. Left are about 300,000 unfinished buildings and shocked communities. town is an architect’s perspective on the origins, structure and possible future of a small town in Ireland.
